    Dave as Project Manager
I have extensive experience with the conception, design and practical implementation of technology and education projects. I have coordinated projects at various levels inside and outside of professional institutions and have discovered that, for the most part, they run by the same rules that projects do outside of technology and education. You must have buy in at a number of levels. There must be a plan not only to convince people of the value of a project but also to ensure that it can maintain itself from a fiscal and an energy standpoint.

Community Manager Edtechtalk (2005-present) - Edtechtalk is a successful, community run network of educators producing live interactive webcasts. I have been co-manager or manager of the community since its inception. The community is managed via 'blog' management style which i developed to respond to the particular nature of decentralized professional communities.
